1. General Refund Guidelines
1.1. All fees paid to Delhi World Public School, Purulia are considered final and non-refundable, except in specific cases outlined in this policy.
1.2. Refunds will be processed only under exceptional circumstances and are subject to the approval of the **School Management Authority**.
1.3. This policy applies to all fees, including but not limited to tuition fees, activity fees, transport fees, and other charges.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered in the following situations:
– Technical Errors in Payment: If a payment error occurs due to technical issues, such as double payment or failed transactions, a refund may be issued after verification.
– Withdrawal Before Session Start: For students withdrawing admission before the start of the academic session, a partial refund may be granted after deducting administrative fees subject to management Decision.
– Exceptional Circumstances: In cases of medical emergencies or other significant events, the refund request may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis under management decision.
3. Non-Refundable Charges
The following charges are strictly non-refundable:
– Admission fees and registration fees.
– Processing fees or convenience charges for online payments.
– Fees for academic terms or sessions that have already commenced.
4. Refund Process
4.1. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the school administration, along with all relevant
documentation supporting the request.
4.2. The request will be reviewed by the administrative team and forwarded to the **School Management Authority**for final decision.
4.3. Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 30 business days from the date of approval.
5. Management Approval
5.1. All refund decisions are at the sole discretion of the **School Management Authority**.
5.2. The decision made by the management will be final and binding.
